Art Graduate Teaching Assistant

Location: Westminster

Salary: 85+ per day, based on experience

A dynamic secondary school in Westminster is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Art Graduate to join their team as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for the upcoming academic year, starting in September. This role is perfect for an art enthusiast looking to inspire young minds while gaining hands-on experience in the education sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with lesson planning and delivery, focusing on art and creative subjects.
  • Provide support to individual students or small groups to enhance their understanding and engagement in art projects.
  • Help track student progress and provide feedback to the class teacher.
  • Support teachers with administrative tasks, such as preparing resources and managing materials.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training to further develop your skills.

Ideal Candidate:

  • A recent graduate with a passion for art and education.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with students of all abilities.
  • A team player who is flexible, adaptable, and eager to learn.
  • Previous experience working with young people is beneficial but not essential.
