Location: Harlow

Start Date: September 2024 (Ideally June 2024 Start)

Position: Full-Time, Monday to Friday

Pay Rate: £100 - £120 a day (Depending on experience)

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Harton Education is partnering with local schools in the Harlow area, seeking dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Personalized Support: Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, ensuring each child receives the attention they need.
  • Inclusive Learning: Assist in the development and implementation of individualized learning plans, supporting a range of special educational needs.
  • Classroom Assistance: Support classroom activities and help create an inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive.
  • Progress Monitoring: Track and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to teachers.
  • Positive Environment: Foster a positive, encouraging atmosphere that motivates and inspires students.

Qualifications:

  • Passion for Education: A genuine interest in helping students succeed.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Empathy and Patience: A compassionate and understanding approach to student needs.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adjust to different situations and challenges.
  • Experience with Youth: Previous experience working with children or young people in any capacity.
  • DBS Clearance: An enhanced DBS on the Online Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
