The Role
The Childrenâs Help and Advice Team (CHAT) is seeking to appoint dynamic senior workers to support a busy team of advisors offering Early Help to families in Herefordshire.
CHAT works within the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) to support children and their families to access the right support at the right time and offers support to those families which do not require a response from MASH. We offer support and signposting to families and professionals and support with the writing and coordination of Early Help Assessments.
The Team deal with requests from families and professionals, via the telephone directly and following referral into the MASH and the applicant will need to have experience of coordinating a fast paced environment, giving advice and guidance and managing the workload of the team. The candidate will need to be experienced with working with families, young people and children, have strong communications skills, a strong understanding of the Early Help Offer, the Herefordshire Levels of Need, the Early Help Assessment (EHA) as well as proven experience of partnership working.
There are two permanent roles that are being advertised, however, anyone looking for a part-time role may be considered.
