The Water & Wastewater Process Engineering Division delivers municipal water treatment solutions for Water Authorities in the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland, and the United Kingdom.
Your new role
Your new role as a Chemical Process Engineer will involve working on water and wastewater projects throughout Northern Ireland and the UK. Reporting to the Projects Manager, you will support the delivery of a range of water projects, working under the direct supervision of a Chartered Engineer. This role is ideal for a motivated, practical, and adaptable individual who aspires to gain Chartered Engineer status and thrive in a progressive and innovative contracting environment.
What you'll need to succeed
What you'll need to succeed is a blend of technical expertise and soft skills. You must be computer literate, a team player, and possess excellent interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work well on your own initiative are essential. You should have a solid understanding of hydraulic system design, pumping system calculations, chemical dosing system design, and wastewater treatment systems. Familiarity with statutory legislation and water industry standards within design processes is crucial. Proficiency in PC skills and a working knowledge of AutoCAD/Revit would be advantageous. Creativity, the ability to work under pressure, and a willingness to learn and be challenged in the Water and Wastewater Industry are also important.
