Mechanical Fitter

£35,000 - £50,000 DOE + Progression to Management/Director Level + Days-Based Monday-Friday + Training + Site-based + Overtime + No Callouts/Rota

Site based in Erdington (Birmingham)

Are you a Mechanical Fitter who has machining and welding experience?

In this role, you will have varied responsibilities across the site such as mechanical fitting, fabrication, and welding, along with the reading of engineering drawings/diagrams. Included will be regular training on the specialist market and products.

The ideal candidate will be a skilled Mechanical Fitter, have experience operating CNC machinery (Lathe, Millers etc.), along with having experience fabricating/welding. In addition, the candidate will have experience with engineering drawings and will be willing to take on a management position down the line.

This is a great opportunity for a skilled mechanical fitter to take the next step in their career, towards a management/directorship level while becoming an expert in the field.

  • Reading and understanding of engineering drawings
  • Assess/quality check completed work

The Person

  • Mechanical Fitter/ Mechanical Engineering experience
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings
  • Welding experience
  • Experience operating machinery such as Lathe, Radial, Miller
  • Mechanical/Electrical qualifications (desired)
