Welder (Nightshift)

We have a great opportunity for Welder with experience of working within the industrial & commercial sectors to join our client s team on a temp- Perm basis.

All candidates will be asked to complete a weld test - Vertical and Horizontal using solid and flux consumables

Working hours: 40 hours per week (Monday-Friday). Some overtime and weekend work will be required (Nightshift)

Rate of Pay: £24.50 per hour + overtime

Shifts - Standard Night shift;

Mon 19:00hrs 06:00hrs

Tue 20:00hrs 06:00hrs

Wed 20:00hrs 06:00hrs

Thur 20:00hrs 06:00hrs

Currently running 24hrs a day, six days a week, so plenty of overtime available. you could work 12hrs every night including Sunday s and Friday s.

Experience:

You should have a strong welding background and be familiar with reading P&ID drawings.

Welding experience in TIG, MIG and MMA is required. Pipefitting experience would be an advantage experience welding mild and stainless steel is essential. Some Aluminium welding will also be required.

Qualifications:

You must possess a mechanical qualification (e.g. City & Guilds or BTEC). Welder qualifications preferred; if you do not have coding s you must have more than 2 years welding experience.

Proof of eligibility to work in the UK will be required.
