This role is for a Property Litigation Associate within the professional services industry, looking for a unique opportunity to work within the legal department at a prestigious establishment based in London.

Client Details

Our client is a well-established law firm with offices in the City. They advise across multiple areas. Based in the heart of London, they pride themselves on delivering top-tier services to their diverse range of clients.

Description

  • Handle property litigation matters including tenant disputes, lease renewals and breach of covenant claims.
  • Provide legal advice to clients on all aspects of property law.
  • Commercial and residential landlord
  • Tenant disputes such as rent recovery, possession, service charge and forfeiture claims.
  • Enforcement of easements, restrictive covenants and party wall issues.
  • Rights of Way Party Wall disputes.
  • Beneficial interest disputes.
  • Work closely with other team members to manage client relationships and provide excellent service.
  • Draft and review legal documents related to property litigation.
  • Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
  • Participate in business development activities to expand the firm's client base.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in property law and communicate these to the team and clients.
  • Adhere to all legal professional standards and compliance requirements.

Profile

A successful Property Litigation Associate should have:

  • A degree in law, preferably with a specialisation in property law.
  • Qualified Solicitor.
  • Proven experience in property litigation and dispute resolution.
  • Excellent negotiation and client relationship skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team and meet strict deadlines.
  • Proficiency in using legal research tools and software.
