Actuarial Pricing Analyst

Staines, Brighton or London

Hybrid/ flexible working

Permanent

Up to £52K per annum dependent upon experience base + pension, private health & optional study support

Full time 37.5 hours per week

Our Actuarial teams play a key role in helping us deliver on our strategy. Whether your focus is pricing, reserving, modelling or another area we believe in allowing our colleagues to work in a way that suits them. Giving them the time and freedom to keep our customers at the heart of every decision.

How you'll help us make health happen:
  • Actuarial support for the development of pricing recommendations
  • Analysis of historical performance
  • Identifying trends and outcomes
  • Ad hoc actuarial projects - customer retention, satisfaction and product enhancements
  • Support business plans
  • Liaise with Claims Analytics, Product, Sales, Finance and Marketing teams


Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
  • Part-Qualified Actuary (IFoA) 6-10 exams passed or equivalent previous experience in actuarial pricing
  • Insurance experience
  • Pricing knowledge and knowledge on Generalised Linear Modelling or regression modelling will be an advantage
  • High proficiency in Excel and at least some user experience with SAS
  • Loves customers, organised, adaptable and willing to learn
