Position: Classroom Welfare Assistant (CWA)

Location: Sindlesham - RG41

Hours of Work: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, Term Time

Pay Daily Rate: £83 - £90

The successful Classroom Welfare Assistant (CWA) will be focusing on KS1 mentoring and supporting Sindlesham pupils.

General Classroom Welfare Assistant (CWA) duties:

* Ensuring a tidy and maintained classroom and work set up for the mornings, assisting with anything that the class teacher needs support.

* Working on a 1:1 or small group basis with children who have varying additional needs. The ideal applicant will be: - Confident working on a 1:1 or small group basis

* Experience providing support to children who have a range of additional needs (SEN/SENCO) such as Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Challenging behaviour when required.

* Creative and engaging approach to learning Able to monitor and provide feedback on learning and progress Ability to create interactive activities to keep them involved and interested.

* Passionate about making a difference in the social and academic development of children. With the ability to adapt to each of the Sindlesham students' individual needs.

* General awareness of Safeguarding of the KS1 (Year 1), reporting to the DLS of any concerns.
