The School is looking for a part-time PE / Sports teacher or coach who wants to make a difference to the sports education and experiences of young people. In addition to teaching in our excellent facilities, the successful candidate will contribute to our extensive extra curricular programme, including inter-house competitions and local fixtures.  The hours and days required are Mondays 11.20am-5pm and one other day in the week working (tbc) 12pm-4.30pm.  The role is required from September 2024 but an earlier start could be agreed. 


Applications are welcome from teachers, ECTs, trainees, sports coaches and instructors. Experience working with young people and / or in schools is desirable. We offer an excellent ECT induction programme and invest energetically in the growth of all our staff. 


 About the PE department

The PE Department is a dynamic and creative department, with a positive commitment to young people’s sport and fitness, a healthy uptake at GCSE and a great programme of extra-curricular activities at all key stages.  There is an opportunity here to expand the 6th Form offer further.  The PE Department works very collaboratively with other departments, including the Performing Arts, Humanities, SEN and Pastoral teams.
