Our client is looking to recruit a Procurement Solicitor to work from their Leeds office. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a global law firm and join a highly regarded national Procurement team ranked as a band 1 listed team.

Our client is a full service global law firm with a leading procurement practice operating across the UK offices. The firm advise well known clients across the public and private sector and they advise on non contentious and contentious procurement work. The firm offers great support and training for their lawyers alongside great benefits.

Description

The Procurement Solicitor will pick up and deal with a range of responsibilities including;

  • Advising public and private sector clients on non contentious procurement law matters particularly in areas such as central government and utilities.
  • Advise on public procurement matters
  • Advise private sector bidders on public procurement
  • Get involved in areas such as state aid
  • Work closely with lawyers and Partners in other offices
  • Support on business development.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Stay updated on developments in procurement law and regulations.

Profile

The successful Procurement Solicitor should have:

  • A background in procurement law gained from another law firm or public sector
  • Comprehensive knowledge of procurement law.
  • Likely to have around 4 -10 years PQE
  • Ties to Leeds.
  • A client-focused approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality legal services.
