Supervising Social Worker

Location- North East, Darlington and surrounding areas
Salary 34,00 pro rota
Hours- Part time 3 days a week
We're seeking a dedicated Social Worker to join a small but perfectly formed team.
You'll play a vital role in ensuring that children in foster care receive the highest quality care. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Recruiting and training foster carers
  • Conducting assessments and home visits
  • Providing ongoing support and supervision to foster carers
  • Participating in foster care reviews
  • Working collaboratively with other professionals


Requirements:

  • Social Work England registration
  • Experience in foster care is preferable but not essential
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driving license and access to a car
