Electrician Roles and Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical maintenance, repair, and installation tasks within student accommodation properties.
  • Assess and report on electrical repair needs, ensuring work is carried out to high standards.
  • Respond to maintenance requests and complete work orders in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure the smooth operation of the accommodation facilities.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.


Electrician Requirements

  • Proven experience as an electrician, preferably within student accommodation or similar settings.
  • Proficiency in electrical maintenance, repair, and installation tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
  • Valid UK driving license and the ability to travel within Leeds as required.
  • Relevant trade qualifications or certifications (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds) are desirable.
