Graduate Software Engineer / Developer (Computer Science C# .Net) *Newcastle onsite* £33k+

You could be progressing your career at a start-up Investment Management firm that have secure backing and an established Hedge Fund client as a partner, gaining valuable financial trading systems experience.

As a Graduate Software Engineer you will collaborate with a small, talented team to deliver the core platform within a Microsoft environment using the latest versions of C# .Net to produce high quality code. Once the Beta has been rolled out and tested the company has ambitious growth plans, this is a great opportunity to be involved from the ground up and progress your career, with training and mentoring from experienced Software Engineers and entrepreneurs.

Location / WFH:

You'll join colleagues in Central Newcastle offices on a full-time basis (Monday to Friday).

About you:

You have achieved a minimum 2.1 BSc in Computer Science from a top 10 Russel Group university, backed by A's at A-levelYou have completed a placement in industry as a Software Engineer / DeveloperYou have coding skills with modern C# .Net (will also consider other programming languages, e.g. Python, C++, Java if you're happy to use C# going forward)You're a technologist who enjoys collaborating and problem solvingYou have a good knowledge of modern software engineering best practices across the full software development lifecycleYou have a thorough understanding of Computer Science fundamentals such as OOP, Data Structures, Design Patterns, AlgorithmsYou're excited to join a start-up in a role that you can shape and influence
