The development of our current technology will enable us to serve our existing customers in wind energy better. With significant company investment and growth, the invention of new products and manufacturing technology will offer our wind sensors' unique strengths to meteorology, marine and defence customers.
Responsible to the Executive Chairman as part of the SLT Key contacts include all employees (with an emphasis on Purchasing and Manufacturing), external auditors and accountants, Directors, HMRC, customers and suppliers. Located in Sunbury-on-Thames (Onsite) 40 hours per week (Flexi-time)
Main Tasks & Responsibilities

As well as overseeing the Finance and Purchasing team, your responsibilities will include:
Maintain systems and procedures to ensure the efficient and effective management of the company finances: Act as the main point of contact for external auditors and provide all required information. Manage all routine and regular finance activity, including sales invoicing and cash management, accounts payable/receivable and payroll. To implement processes to manage and control costs of the manufacturing process. Recommend and implement changes to improve company financial performance and controls. To implement Standard Costs of manufactured items. Production of financial reports, including key management ratios Production of monthly management accounts for each company within the FTT group, ensuring timelines, accuracy, completeness, and compliance with Company requirements. Produce annual budgets and monitor budgets monthly/quarterly. Consolidate the monthly results of all group companies. Consolidated cash flow projection. Production of summaries of costs incurred by cost centres. Completion of intercompany adjustments at the end of each month. Ensuring that VAT returns are completed quarterly for each company. Ensuring statutory taxes are paid on time. Production of draft year-end accounts. Produce statutory accounts for the group of companies. Ensure the timely and accurate processing of payroll.
Skills, Ability and Experience
Fully qualified recognised financial qualification, e.g. ACA or ACCA A manufacturing background and knowledge of cost accounting is highly desirable. SAP B1 experience is desirable. Team management experience. Good organisational skills. Excellent communication skills. Confident in liaising with other areas of the business and external stakeholders. Self-motivated: comfortable working independently and able to prioritise. Collaborative approach and flexibility to contribute to cross-functional projects. Can work under time constraints to meet agreed deadlines.
