Your New Role...

The PR & Publicity Graduate Interns will support Warner Bros Discovery teams to maximise engagement in their films, TV shows, games and programmes.  

 

Your Role Accountabilities...

  • Researching current trends and activations within the industry.â¯â¯â¯Â 
  • Updating internal release schedule.â¯Â 
  • Daily monitoring of industry news and identifying opportunities for innovation and creativity.â¯â¯Â 
  • Assist with compilation of content for reports.â¯Â 
  • Tracking and collating screening reactions and reviews from press in EMEA markets on all film titles.â¯â¯Â 
  • Assisting in the research, development and implementation of communication plans for key ad sales, digital and research projects.â¯Â 
  • Contributing to social media on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook accounts, building social media relationships.â¯Â 
  • Assisting with project publicists on ad hoc tasks.â¯Â 
  • Deal with telephone and email enquiries from the press and general public.â¯Â 
  • Supporting the publicity teams in the co-ordination and organisation of all publicity activities, including press interview access, set visits, premieres, screenings, film festivals and unique stunted activities.â¯Â 
  • Carrying out day-to-day admin tasks to support department.

Qualifications & Experience...

  • You must be a recent or soon-to-be university graduate, having graduated no earlier than July 2021.â¯â¯Â 
  • Proven strong, accurate writing ability, with excellence for grammar and punctuationâ¯â¯Â 
  • Good copywriting skills and the ability to research and draft releasesâ¯.
  • Well organised and show excellent attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise workload and use time effectively.â¯â¯â¯Â 
  • Understanding of social media tools especially Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.â¯Â 
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability and confidence to communicate with people at all levels.â¯Â 
  • An interest in the film, entertainment and media industry.â¯Â 
  • Some previous work experience would be advantageous. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.â¯â¯Â 
  • Marketing, Communications, Business Studies or Media Studies degree preferred

The Internship... 

  • Salary: £26,000 
  • Contract Length: 12 months 
  • Start Date: Likely to be 14th August 2023 
  • You will gain hands-on experience working on business-critical projects. 
  • You will have access to personal and professional development courses, executive speakersâ series, special screenings and more. 
  • You will be part of our Early Talent network of over 100 interns & apprentices, meaning you will have an important support network of other students, graduates and apprentices and plenty of opportunities to socialise
