What you will do:

The Project Manager will be responsible for delivering high standards of customer service by providing leadership, guidance, and support in the management of the company's projects. Key focus areas include: operational efficiency, quality and continuous improvement, customer development, department profitability, and employee satisfaction and development.

How You Will Do It:-

Manage the planning and implementation of multiple projects on a day-to-day basis to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Planning, defining and writing project(s) scope with the sales teams based on customer requirements. Support tender and other opportunities with the team.

Create detailed project plans and resource allocation schedules for the projects.

Liaise with the Project Delivery Director to ensure work is neither overlooked nor duplicated and to ensure the overall direction and integrity of the project(s).

Provide planning and organisational expertise as required on projects throughout the business.

Attend Client meetings.

Manage variance and risk - project creep and risk must be identified, communicated to the customer and its impact understood on materials, resource, cost and master schedule.

Manage and motivate a series of project teams, including sub-contractors, to achieve project objectives.

Ensure client information, project files etc. are fully under control and updated.

Ensure O&M manuals are produced as necessary on completion of projects.

Liaise with the other operational and engineering teams to provide cross support of resources and technical input.

Ensure excellent levels of customer satisfaction and customer service.

Support other functions of the business as necessary.

Perform post project review analysis with the Project Delivery Director.

Required Skills:

Excellent interpersonal skills.

Able to work with staff and sub-contractors of all levels.

Build lasting working relationships and shows consideration for colleagues.

A facilitative management style and experience in team building, motivation and objective setting.

Demonstrate an ability to lead a team to achieve a common set of goals in line with business objectives.

Maintains a positive attitude and convey this to others.

Prepared to adjust and be versatile to situations encountered.

Able to take responsibility for finding solutions.

Self-motivated and enthusiastic individual.

SC Security clearance required.
