B2 Forklift Driver

RMS are currently recruiting for a B2 Forklift Driver for our client based in Port Clarence area, Middlesbrough.

This role will include the safe movement of materials, equipment and structures around the site. This is a long-term temporary position and is working Monday Friday 7AM until 3PM. The rate of pay is £14.63 per hour.

Candidates must hold a B2 Forklift Licence, refresher training can be provided.

Main Duties & Responsibilities will include:

• Moving materials, plant and equipment around the site as directed.
• Unloading and unloading of wagons and other transports.
• Maintaining material storage segregation areas as directed and assisting with maintaining a log.
• Operating Overhead Cranes.
• Assisting with vessel berthing and removing and reinstating flood defenses.
• Consulting with vessel crews in loading and unloading vessels.
• Operating counterbalance forklifts 3tonne-15 tonne & all terrain.
• Operating Side loader.
• Operating Kamag yard transporter.
• Maintaining the safe operational use of lift trucks and other site transportation.
• Conducting any site maintenance as required under the instruction of Manager/Supervisor.
• Tidying up work areas as required.
• Conducting pre-use checks and reporting defects as required.

As an ideal candidate, you should have:

• Strong logistics/manufacturing Background
• Good understanding of Health & Safety Legislation
• Counterbalance Forklift up to 15tonnes & All Terrain
• Knowledge of Rigging requirements and experience

Experience with Side Loaders and Kamag is desirable but not essential.
