TeacherActive is proud to be working with a primary school based in the Saltburn-by-the-sea area who are looking to recruit roles on a temporary or long-term basis. The schools we work with all have specialised areas and you must be able to adapt to a changing environment.

We are looking for passionate Teaching with experience of working within a KS1 setting on a temporary or long-team basis. The successful applicant must have full training and knowledge of Read Write Inc scheme. The successful teaching assistant will be working with students in KS1 and be assisting them both on a 1:1 basis and as a general teaching assistant. The school are looking to take a teaching assistant who will be working from 8.30am till 12pm.

The successful teaching assistant will have:

  • Relevant teaching assistant qualifications or experience.
  • The ability to work with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
  • Fully trained and experience is delivering the Read Write Inc phonics scheme.
  • Experience of working in a KS1 setting.
