The school is situated to the south of Wolverhampton’s city centre, on a site surrounded by green space and fantastic views across hills and fields. We also benefit greatly from a wide range of fantastic facilities for our staff and students, including an on-site swimming pool, AstroTurf pitch, dedicated Sixth Form block, flexible breakout spaces across the school and a large theatre often used by groups in our local community for performances. We have an exciting opportunity to offer in the Social Sciences, to a candidate who is experienced and adept at working with post-16 students and has a passion for the Social Sciences. Psychology and Sociology are popular choices at Colton Hills, and we are looking to add a high-quality teacher to our post-16 team who can continue our track record of success in the subject.

This post is suitable for someone from either a secondary school or FE background, and will mainly involve working with students in post-16. We are looking for a dynamic practitioner who can play a strong part in getting students to be ‘university-ready’, a key part of our school’s mission. There is also the chance to develop the curriculum into new areas, such as Criminology, if this is something that you are passionate about.
