Lecturer in Digital Health and Society
The University of Salford is now looking for a Lecturer in Digital Health and Society
The successful candidate will develop and deliver high-quality teaching materials across a range of modules and will contribute to the planning, design and development of modules and programmes. It is also expected that the post holder will undertake research, enterprise, and learning and teaching activities to enhance their own portfolio as well of that of the school.
Fundamental to this role is integrating digital capabilities within our curricula, implementing innovative modes of digitally enabled learning for our students, and having substantial knowledge on digital health and/or digital society, digital literacy and digital education.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the development and delivery of taught programmes and/or research programmes, with outstanding delivery and support of learning
- Assist with integration of digital capabilities within our curricula
- Assist with designing teaching material and deliver across a range of modules related to digital health/society
- Identify areas where current provision is in need of revision or enhancement
- Assist with the integration of appropriate teaching techniques and assessment procedures across the breadth and depth of subject area, with appropriate professional recognition and dissemination of good practice via scholarly publications
