We are actively seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the refurbishment of a large industrial shed in Kings Lynn. This 10-week programme requires a Site Manager with a strong background in roofing and M&E works.
Key Responsibilities:
The Site Manager will oversee all site operations, ensuring that the project is delivered on time, within scope, and to a high standard.
The Site Manager will coordinate daily activities, manage subcontractors, and ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations.
Conduct regular site inspections and ensure that all work complies with quality standards and project specifications.
The Site Manager will be responsible for maintaining accurate project documentation, including site reports, risk assessments, and method statements.
Manage site logistics, including the coordination of materials, deliveries, and equipment.
Address any issues or delays promptly, liaising with stakeholders to find effective solutions.
Ensure that all site personnel adhere to company policies and procedures.Requirements:
SMSTS certification is essential.
Demonstrated experience as a Site Manager in industrial refurbishment projects, particularly with roofing and M&E.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
Proficient in site documentation and reporting.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and experience in enforcing them on site.
Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently while maintaining project momentum.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors, and the project management team
