This company is a local, industry-led professional services organisation. This organisation is based in Newtownards but have offices throughout Ards and North Down. They are currently going through a period of growth, having more than doubled their headcount in the past 5 years.

Your new role
Based in Newtownards, but working one day per week in their Bangor office, this organisation has created a new role offering you the opportunity to make what you want of it In this role, you will be highly motivated and detail-oriented. You will be responsible for overseeing and optimising the company's operational process, maximising efficiency and making the business more effective in everything they do.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Operations Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate would be responsible for overseeing and optimising our company's operational processes, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all areas of our business operations.
Your key responsibilities will look like the following:

  • Process Management - streamlining and improving operational functions and processes
  • Maintain adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and anti-money laundering guidelines while also generating routine operational reports
  • Identify and execute strategies to enhance productivity and reduce costs through operational improvements.Feel free to use this revised wording
  • Organise and execute specific business activities, entering timely completion and adding to the success of the business
  • Manage the office manager and administration team, and align various different departments to contribute to the strategic success of the company.
  • Facilities management responsibilities
  • Manage relationships with both warm and cold clients and contribute to the success of the organisation.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered for this role, you will have the following:
  • Minimum 3 years experience in an operational management role
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
  • Experience in a management position
  • Candidates with a degree in business administration and operations management are highly encouraged to apply
  • Consideration will be given to all applicants who can demonstrate the requisite experience.
