Your role as Audit Semi Senior
In your role as an Audit Semi Senior at Dains, you'll be at the forefront of delivering exceptional service to our clients. You'll have the opportunity to work across various client groups and sectors throughout the East Midlands, gaining exposure to diverse service needs and honing your skills. From supervising the audit team to providing leadership and guidance to junior members, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of your projects.

Responsibilities
You will take ownership for the audit of a client reporting directly to the Manager, Director or PartnersYou will prepare audit files to the required standardLiaison with the Tax Department on any tax related mattersPreparation of statutory and non-statutory accountsDelegation of assignments and supervision of junior members of staff, followed by review of the work performedDrafting of journals requiring you to understand fairly complex accounting principlesThe completion of the assignment in accordance with the budget with any variations being promptly recordedTo provide ad-hoc support to other members of the audit department as required
