School Caretaker (Contract until July 2025)

Contract: Full-time, Fixed-term until July 2025

Are you a reliable and proactive individual looking for an opportunity to work in a vibrant school environment? We are seeking a dedicated School Caretaker to join our team in Tower Hamlets on a fixed-term contract until July 2025.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the school premises are well-maintained, clean, and safe for staff, students, and visitors.
  • Carry out minor repairs and maintenance tasks as required.
  • Oversee the security of the building, including locking and unlocking the premises.
  • Support with setting up rooms and facilities for school events and activities.
  • Monitor health and safety compliance and report any issues.


What We're Looking For:

  • Experience in a caretaker or facilities management role (preferred but not essential).
  • Basic DIY and maintenance skills.
  • A positive attitude, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A commitment to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for our students.
