Are you an experienced Accounts Payable clerk who has experience within the Retail Industry? Have you managed the full cycle accounts payable process including payment runs? Do you have strong communication skills and the ability to tackle difficult queries? If so, I would love to hear from you.
My client is an award-winning retail and e-commerce business based in Worcestershire and is seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk who will play a crucial role in managing the companyâs financial transactions.
Duties of the Purchase Ledger Clerk will include:
- Processing a high volume of supplier invoices.
- Supplier statement reconciliations.
- Matching, batching and coding.
- Matching the purchase orders.
- Fortnightly payment runs.
- Month end reporting.
- Daily bank reconciliations.
The successful Purchase Ledger Clerk will require:
- Proven experience as a Purchase Ledger Clerk or similar finance role.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
- A proactive attitude with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
