As a Workshop Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliable service and repair of both in-house and third-party products within a professional workshop environment.

Main Duties

  • Maintain and repair a variety of products, including IP cameras, Smarteye cameras, Antenna - Cage, Antenna BAP, Comm Cab, Winches (dual/single/with brake versions), and Wifi boxes
  • Provide telephone support and assist with the preparation of core products
  • Offer basic first line remote support as designated by Line Manager
  • Accurately record time spent, parts used, and details of work performed on all tasks

Skills and experience

  • Exposure to electrical, electronic or mechanical equipment
  • Proven ability to maintain and repair a broad range of technical equipment
  • Basic IT and Networking experience
  • Methodical approach to fault finding
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Recognised technical apprenticeship or HNC/HND in in electrical or electronic engineering would be desirable
