An experienced Drainage Engineer with at least 3 years of drainage experience is needed to join our team at Profluent Services based in Hertfordshire on a full-time basis.

We are an independently owned specialist drainage company looking after various top hotels, restaurants, theatres and other large maintenance companies.

About the Role

We are looking for experienced engineers to grow our business - all-round hard-working individuals. The ideal applicants must have knowledge and experience in all aspects of drainage/maintenance.

A call rota is in place as we provide emergency drainage services 24/7. We also offer an additional fixed "on-call fee" for your allocated on call days and overtime available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attending to reactive jobs and Planned Preventative Maintenance
  • Expected to deliver a high standard of work and excellent customer service
  • Every job will be different from leaking pipes, CCTV works, descaling, jetting, unblocking, replacement of manhole covers, replacement of taps, pipe replacement and other various drain-related works
  • You will also need to put reports and findings together
  • The vehicle we provide will be fully equipped with Picote, Spartan and Solo Pro CCTV and also jetting equipment

Required Skills:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • Professional customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to troubleshoot issues and meet deadlines
  • Ability to carry out CCTV surveys, produce detailed findings and any recommendations or further work quotations as necessary
  • Enthusiastic "can do" attitude and consistent work ethic

Required Experience:

  • Must have a minimum of 3+ years of drainage experience (basic plumbing experience, groundwork/handyman experience also desirable)
  • Drainage: minimum 3 years required
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Work authorisation: United Kingdom
  • CSCS card, confined space, HPWJ, aspectos (desirable)
  • Experienced in using the listed company equipment
