  • Ensure the safety and well-being of the children during classroom activities and outdoor exploration
  • Assist in the creation and organisation of stimulating learning environments, incorporating natural elements
  • Observe and assess children's progress and development, maintaining accurate records and communicating with the teaching team
  • Foster positive behaviour and social skills, encouraging a sense of belonging and cooperation

The ideal candidate:

  • Previous experience working as a teaching assistant in a Primary School setting is desirable
  • Familiarity with the Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 framework
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, parents, and colleagues effectively
  • Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach to create a supportive learning environment
  • Proactive, adaptable, and a strong team player
