Title: Marketing and Communications Assistant

Location: South-East London

Salary:£17-£20 per hour

Hours: Full time– hybrid working available

Duties:

  • Support the Head of Communications and Marketing and the wider team to help deliver campaign activity outlined within the current communications and marketing strategy
  • Support the delivery of business-as-usual communications to residents, employees and other key stakeholders through the shaping and sharing of content through the intranet, MS Teams, all staff emails, web, PR and social
  • Support with project management of team’s performance, through reporting on team’s performance across digital, social, and internal channels
  • Work autonomously and follow instruction, working proactively to complete given tasks
  • Able to understand technical, process and cultural implications of delivering channel shift objectives

Essential Skills:

  • Must have housing association experience
  • Good technical skills, including experience using MS Office, Teams, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite
  • Ability to build rapport, collaborate and influence people at all levels of the organisation, and deliver the potential of our communications and marketing infrastructure 

Desirable Skills:

  • A degree or equivalent CIM, CIPR or PRCA qualification in media, marketing, PR, or strategic communications
  • Content management qualifications for website CMS and social media management tools, e.g. Umbraco, Drupal, WordPress, Hootsuite or Orlo
