My client are currently seeking a Senior Town Planner to join our talented team. This role is ideal for an experienced planner looking to take the next step in their career, with opportunities to work on a wide range of projects across residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.

Key Responsibilities

* Planning Strategy: Lead the development and implementation of planning strategies that align with client goals, local planning frameworks, and national regulations.

* Project Leadership: Manage and coordinate planning projects from concept to completion, ensuring that all projects meet deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.

* Development Proposals: Prepare and submit high-quality planning applications, ensuring compliance with local and national planning policies.

* Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing expert advice and ensuring their objectives are met through tailored planning solutions.

* Stakeholder Liaison: Engage with local authorities, community groups, and other stakeholders to facilitate positive outcomes for planning applications and development projects.

Qualifications and Experience

* Education: Degree in Town Planning, Urban Design, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred but not essential.

* Professional Accreditation: Chartered membership with the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) or equivalent.

* Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a planning role, with a proven track record in managing complex planning projects.

* Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.

* Proficient in planning software and tools, with experience in GIS and design software being advantageous.

* Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
