About the role

As our supervisor  you will be a key part of our rapidly growing Global Finance Operations team. That means helping the team deliver continuous improvement in accounting and reporting, as well as identifying areas where we can improve procedures within the department.
The main task of this role is to assist with month-end closing activities in the technology segment.

These are some of the key ingredients to the role:

• Own the end-to-end process of capitalising labour costs across all entities
• Work with the technology team to identify process improvements in labour cost capitalisation across all markets
• Manage a team of two to ensure a smooth month end close for the technology pillar. This includes analysis and commentary of month end numbers and confidently able to present month end numbers across multiple entities to the stakeholders
• Delivering accurate and timely management information with clear understanding of key drivers and commentary against those
• Main point of contact for Business Partners and external auditors on all technology related queries
• Responsible for ensuring strong financial controls are in place and operating effectively, including robust balance sheet reconciliations
• Manage the fixed asset accounting process for all head office entities
• Responsible for submission of Group month end requirements in the JET Consolidation system
• Knowledge of local statutory accounts preparation

What will you bring to the table?

• Qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA with experience post qualification
• Experience working in the tech sector
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage own workload and co-ordinate with multiple stakeholders
• Change management experience, evidence of previous improvements in systems or processes
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets required (should be able to manipulate large amounts of data)
• Strong communicator confident working with individuals across all levels of the business
• Able to lead and influence others to achieve desired results
• Bonus if can prepare statutory accounts
