We are currently recruiting a Chef Supervisor to join our team working at HMP Birmingham, Winson Green Road, Birmingham, B18 4AS

What you'll be doing

Work with a team of chefs and enhanced inmates to deliver meals, 3 times a day Supervising and assisting enhanced inmates in the kitchen Work alongside prisoner workforces and assist them in cooking meals and preparing food You will be responsible for the preparation of basic quality foods within a set pre ordered menu Effective and efficient food production in line with recipe sheets Full knowledge of all menu items served Ensure the kitchen is clean and tidy Fill in all relevant paperwork and due diligence forms Be an excellent team player and be able to deal with conflict if it arises Undertake relevant training as required

Experience

Must be 18+ City & Guilds 706/2 or NVQ equivalent qualification Level 3 food safety or equivalent or be willing to obtain this on our e learning platform Enhanced security vetting will be required due to the nature and location of the role
