Business Development Manager (Engineering / Mechanical)

£35,000 Base (£70,000 OTE) + Attractive Commission Structure + Hybrid Role + Weekdays only + Vehicle & Fuel Allowance

Are you a Business Development Manager looking to join a rapidly growing engineering business with limitless potential, collaborating with some of the most recognizable companies in the UK and directly impacting success?

You will play a vital role within the company heading up the business development department, directly reporting to the Managing Director. In this position, you will be at the forefront of the company's growth in engineering services.

Your responsibilities will include identifying new opportunities and ensuring the widespread acceptance of their ground-breaking services within the engineering sector.

The ideal candidate will have an extensive track record in business development, account management, sales, and client engagement within the engineering sector. A strong understanding of mechanical engineering is required in this role.

The Role:

  • Developing and implementing business development strategies to meet targets and expand market share.
  • Conducting in-depth market research to identify trends and potential opportunities in the engineering industry.
  • Visiting sites with acquired clients.

The Person:

  • Proven experience in business development.
  • Communicative and confident characteristics.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical engineering.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships.
