Commercial Lawyer - In-House Lawyer
Bristol (Hybrid)
£75K - £120K (depending on experience)
Our client has achieved incredible growth over the past number of years, and they look forward to more exciting times ahead as they continue to expand their presence globally. To support this growth, they are seeking an In-House Lawyer to join their Legal team in Bristol. The role will involve:
- Providing overall legal support to the business covering an exciting mix of transactional support to contracts with their clients.
- Working on a wide range of corporate matters that could include areas such as claims, employment, property, corporate governance and regulatory compliance. (Experience in all these areas is not a prerequisite)
- Partnering with business leaders to help them grow but whilst ensuring compliance with applicable laws.
- Managing and mitigating legal risks, drafting and negotiating a variety of agreements and generally supporting an exciting growing business.
You will have the support of the senior members of the Legal Team and as they are currently going through an integration period will have the opportunity to play a key role for them in this and beyond. You will also be part of Legal team which looks after all regions outside of North America, so there is plenty of opportunity for diversity, growth and interest.
THE CANDIDATE
- Open to considering candidates from a wide range of PQE levels. (minimum 4 years)
- Qualified with a relevant legal professional qualification gained in the UK or another jurisdiction.
- Have an understanding of corporate governance principles and best practices and an interest in working for a public company.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work with varying seniority levels, including staff, managers, and external partners.
- A high degree of self-management, initiative, reliability and flexibility to ensure that the best possible service is given to internal and external clients.
