Job Summary
What is the opportunity?This is an exciting opportunity for a 12 month fixed term contract to join as an Associate within RBCâs Corporate Access team. The team provides a full suite of consultative and logistics services to bring institutional investors and corporate clients together. Responsible for delivering a seamless client experience â coordination and execution of Corporate and Analyst marketing events, deal roadshows, collaborating internally, increasing the quality of RBCâs marketing pipeline, ensuring consistent application of global standards and managing feedback data to drive a valued client-focused brand experience.
What will you do?
⢠Manage the coordination and execution of logistics for Corporate and Analyst Marketing events. This includes, but not limited to: client targeting, deal and non-deal roadshows, bespoke (reverse roadshows) and group fieldtrips, site visits, seminars, conference scheduling, expert events, salesforce briefings and investor/corporate prep packages, feedback, sourcing venues and technology platforms.
⢠Partner with Sales, Research and ECM to set event objectives and identify investor targets. Create clear lines of communication pre, during and post event to ensure each event has a successful outcome.
⢠Seek out opportunities to connect events that have potential for shared purposes, maximize the regionâs marketing pipeline and offer unique views to drive global differentiated events.
⢠Collate feedback post marketing events. Share content with Research and the Global Corporate Access Relationship Management team to generate more Corporate Marketing mandates globally.
⢠Prepare investor/corporate prep packages, investor profiles and other marketing materials, applying consistent global firm standards to deliver on-brand experience to clients.
⢠Maintain best practices when entering data in the event planning system and CRM and work closely with the Client Submissions team to improve accuracy of our reports.
⢠Support the Corporate Relationship Management team by assisting in the corporate marketing origination process through pitches and presentations.
⢠Build and maintain relationships with key corporate contacts to drive global corporate marketing mandates and increase RBCâs brand loyalty.
⢠Assist with projects/initiatives as needed to support the Global Corporate Access team.

⢠Undergraduate degree or equivalent
⢠An understanding of Equity Capital Markets
⢠Relevant experience within a similar position
⢠Acute attention to detail, with ability to prioritise and multi-task, managing a large number of projects concurrently
⢠Superior communication and interpersonal skills
⢠Ability to use initiative, forward plan and remain calm under pressure
