Job Description

As a Bosch intern you will benefit from on the job training in a supportive working environment where you can develop your personal and professional skills. As part of team, you will be responsible for;

Finance:
  • Professional fees analysis
  • RBIE (Ireland) contact for expenses and Account Payable (AP)
  • Completion of National Statistics returns

Controlling:
  • Analysis of trade receivables and overdue debt
  • Responsibility for the headcount analysis
  • Researching and reporting on the UK and Ireland economy

In addition, throughout your placement year you will be;
  • Communicating facts and best practices to a variety of internal and external stakeholders
  • Reporting and Analysis of varying reports, for example, Profit and Loss, Balance Sheets Preparation of ad hoc reports (stock and marketing trackers, customer sales and management reports)
  • Assistance with year-end closing activities
  • Other ad-hoc projects will be assigned once the successful candidate has gained some experience and demonstrated their abilities.


Qualifications

Essential Qualifications/Skills:
  • You should be a proficient user of Microsoft Office; additionally, it is highly desirable that you are an advanced user of Excel for certain placements.
  • An eye for detail is essential as well being a quick learner.
  • You should be able to prioritise workload accordingly to meet targets and have the ability to adhere to deadlines.
  • You should be proactive and with a positive attitude.
  • You should be enthusiastic, determined and flexible.
  • You will have good organisational skills.
  • Good communicator who is clear and able to communicate at all levels.
  • Quick learner that is analytical and accurate with a high level of attention to detail.


Additional Information

This is a 12 or 13 month internship beginning in June, July or August 2023. This position is open to undergraduates or Masters students who are required to partake in a work placement as part of their course.

You must have the right to live and work in the UK when you start your placement and for the full duration of your placement. Please note your placement must be directly relevant to your course to comply with visa requirements.
