NJC Salary Scale – Grade 1– Scale Point 2

Full time Equivalent – £20,441

FTE Salary is pro-rated based on the number of hours and weeks worked per year.


Term Time Only - Permanent

We are able to offer some flexibility around the successful applicants availability to work. The core hours are between 10:45 and 14:15 covering break and lunch times.

The Minster School is a highly regarded, oversubscribed school, serving the local community of Southwell and surrounding villages. The school currently has 1650 students on roll including over 350 students in the sixth form and 40 students in the junior department. Alongside serving our own students, we are the home of East Midlands East Maths Hub, a strategic partner of the Redhill Teaching Hub and a member of the Minster Learning Alliance. The Minster School is a member of the Minster Trust for Education (MITRE), a multi academy trust.


You will join a team of experienced midday supervisors and will be required to supervise students during the lunch and/or break period in the dining hall and other social areas which may be inside and outside. This will include managing student behaviour in line with the school’s policies and procedures for behaviour management, training will be provided. There are also elements of cleaning in the role to maintain our high levels of Health & Safety.
