Our Transport Innovation team is seeking a Programme Coordinator to ensure the smooth running of projects and programmes across the portfolio for our Policy, Strategy and Innovation directorate. As an integral part of the team, you'll engage collaboratively across the organisation, providing comprehensive support to ensure that all internal processes are being followed and the correct governance is in place. 
In this multifaceted role, you will ensure finances are managed correctly, compile project reports, initiate purchase orders, collate timesheets and support with the coordination of events. We need someone who has strong attention to detail, can manage their own workload, is highly proactive and understands the importance of being a team player.
What will you be doing?Organise meetings including preparing documentation, taking minutes, and circulating actions.Generate reports for internal/external boards and audit meetings.Maintain and monitor an accurate status of bids and initiatives.Provide support in the development of the monthly project lead updates.Lead on logistics for conferences, stakeholder engagement days, workshops, and events.Create and maintain brochures, website updates, award submissions and presentations.Lead on the completion of Timesheets, ensuring these are completed and signed off on time.Raise, track and report on contracts, purchase orders and invoices.Ensure all financial documents and information are up to date, including Smartsheet Project Lead updates and budget documents.About you.Experience of project support and administrationExperience of working in a multi-disciplinary teamHave Financial accounting experience / experience of financial documentation preparation.Able to work effectively as part of a team.Excellent analytical skillsExcellent Interpersonal skillsStrong attention to detailExcellent time managementAdvanced level user of Microsoft Office applicationsHow to apply. On clicking ‘apply for this job’, you will be prompted to create an account. Salary and benefits.We advertise salary ranges for job roles, with new appointments typically starting at the lowest salary point. In exceptional cases, where higher skill levels or experience are applicable, the salary point may be adjusted to secure the best candidate. The location for this role is 16 Summer Lane. It is expected that you can split your time between the office and working remotely, with at least 2 days a week spent in the office.
