My client is a Global leading Aerospace and Defence organisation. Recruiting for a Data and Finance Administrator with the responsibility to management and maintenance of the departments risk system used to capture and report on claims.



Responsibilities:

This role is an integral part of the Group Insurable Risk (GIR) business support team, insurance policies, premiums, and exposure information about the company for placing insuranceResponsible for department finances including the processing of purchase orders, invoices and internal recharges alongside general ledger maintenance. GIR are responsible for over £40m in insurance premiums and £3.5m in department and third party service provider fees to the global businessSupporting the insurance placement team with policy renewals, including data collection, collation, management and presentation of data to brokers/insurers. This includes comparing, contrasting and combining different sets of data to identify variancesPlaying a key role in training users (globally) of the risk system and assists in workshops/meetings with stakeholders at all levelsSupporting the development and build of reports from the risk system to meet user requirements

Required experience:
Ability to manipulate and analyse dataProven skills to interpret data analysis to produce management information to meet stakeholder requirementsExpert in Microsoft Excel and able to use functions like pivot tables and VLOOKUP’sExperience of reconciling financial accounts and processing purchases orders, invoices etc.GCSE Maths and English (minimum C or 5)Experience building reports/dashboardsGood grounding in general insurance principlesExperience of working with databases
