Head of Private Client Department - Partner.  Kent.  

Very highly regarded and long established law firm based in Kent, are succession planning and looking to recruit a senior level private client solicitor to join at partner level and take over the running of the private client department.

This department is one of the most successful and most profitable in the firm and therefore it is crucial for them to get the right person on board.

The private client department handles a range of work including probate, wills, tax, trusts, LPA's, estate planning, estate administration and some Court of Protection work.  Many clients are high net worth with complex estates.

As this is such a senior level position, applications are welcome from qualified solicitors at senior associate or partner level, with at least 10 years PQE.  You are likely to either be a head of department at the moment, or you will be a number two or three in the department who is looking to take that step up and run your own team.  

STEP membership would be a distinct advantage and you will have experience managing and mentoring more junior members of staff. 

A following is NOT required, but experience of networking and business development is expected.
