Royal Mail Delivery Driver

Location: Nuneaton

Shift: Working up to 6 days Mon-Sun with rotating days off 
Hours: 08:00am - 14:30pm (due to the nature of the business flexibilty is required)

Hourly Rate: £13.37 basic rate (additional rate for overtime)

About the role
Youâll start your day for an hour or so in the local delivery office, loading the mail for your route, before setting out on foot or in a provided van to complete your parcel/mail round. Youâll each be given a hand-held computer device to capture customer signatures for deliveries with each round usually taking around four hours to complete. The hand-held computer will also act as your routing system putting your round in the most economical route.

About You
Upbeat and self-motivated, youâll be as happy working alone as well as working as part of a team and getting to know different people on your round. Youâll have a strong sense of community and the idea of doing a job that involves flexible working patterns will appeal to you.

We deliver post/parcels come rain or shine, so weâre looking for people who like being outdoors whatever the weather, youâll also be someone who likes the idea of doing a job that will help you keep fit.

Some experience in a customer facing role would be ideal.

Driving licence requirements
A full UK manual driving licence required (in your current UK address), with no more than six penalty points is essential, but a clean licence is preferred.
