Why be a Senior Demand Planner at THG?

You will be joining a dynamic, innovative team who is truly passionate about Beauty. Working in a highly analytical role, we're looking for someone to take ownership of the Demand Planning for their assigned omnichannel brand. The role of the senior demand planner is to ensure we fulfil the financial growth of the largest THG brands in line with budgets through the bottom-up and top-down forecasting, stock buying rationale and stock allocation across the globe. As a Senior Demand Planner you will be working closely with the Demand Planning Manager driving new processes, logic, ways of working across the team to identify streamlined demand planning processes and constant review of stock and sales data.

As a Senior Demand Planner, you'll:

Collate and continuously review of an 18-month forecast at sku level, across numerous territories and sales channels, to identify and execute different forecasting methods based on stock profile, rates of sale, customer order patterns and influence the wider team on learnings. Monitor sales against forecast; identifying trends, causes of any changes in demand and working with key stakeholders on forecast and budget revisions. Heavily influence the bi-yearly budget revisions with clear understanding of revenue capabilities based on stock categories vs LY and YTD performance. Analyse sku ranges and KPIs to suggest future rebuys, discontinuations, pricing actions, and MOQ reviews. To ensure efficient stock buying and selling decisions are made, and present future revenue risks because of rebuy actions. Be responsible for preparing and presenting large sets of data and KPIs to stakeholders to drive decisions on buying, selling and trading. Rationalise new product development quantities, analysing a wide range of KPIs and opportunities for an omnichannel brand to operate globally, ensuring decisions are accurate and cost effective. Work collaboratively with B2B sales teams on new business proposals, ensuring it is in line with budgets and stock capabilities. Continual review on B2B partner performance in line with forecasts for new and existing customers. Manage the start-to-end process of a rebrand based on budgets, stock holdings, MOQ and COG negotiation, markdown budgets and new business opportunities. Support the business needs in the absence of the Demand Planning Manager. What skills and experience do I need for this role?
