Due to rapid and continued growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Handover Engineer to join a leading contract organisation, delivering consultancy services, engineering solutions and site operations support to some of the UK s leading Defense contractors. This is a contract role, hybrid, the role can be either Inside or Outside of Scope of IR35 pending determination with SC or DV Clearance being essential for this role.
Role and Responsibilities:
- The Handover Engineer will be involved in ensuring the successful transition of a project from completion to full operational capability.
- Preparing and collating necessary documentation, liaising with clients, sub-contractors, and suppliers, and ensuring all project objectives and requirements are met.
- Contributing to the handover strategy, preparing handover plans, verifying, and validating requirements, managing LTQR documentation.
- Ensuring effective communication across disciplines.
- The Handover Engineer also maintains technical competency through continuous professional development and ensures compliance with the project lifecycle process and site license conditions.
Skills and qualifications:
- Degree in Engineering, Construction, or Project Management.
- Professional qualification in Quality Control or Audit.
- Project management skills with a focus on project delivery and adherence to timelines.
- Knowledge of quality control and audit processes.
- SC or DV Clearance is Essential
This position offers hybrid working, and a working 9 day fortnight.
