Position Overview: As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining continuity of learning in the absence of regular teaching staff. Working closely with school leaders and educators, you will supervise classes, manage behaviour, and ensure that students remain on task during teacher absences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise classes in the absence of regular teaching staff, following pre-prepared lesson plans and delivering engaging learning activities.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment conducive to learning.
  • Support students with their learning, providing assistance and guidance as needed.
  • Liaise with teaching staff and school leaders to report on student progress and any incidents that occur during cover sessions.
  • Uphold the school's policies and procedures, promoting a safe and respectful learning environment for all students.
