Randstad C&P are seeking a highly skilled Static Plumber with a strong background in plumbing, mechanical maintenance, HVAC, and Fabric Maintenance. This dynamic role involves a variety of tasks including reactive maintenance and planned preventive maintenance (PPM) to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
This is a full-time, permanent role based on our clients static site in Washington.

Main Duties:
- Perform reactive maintenance on plumbing, mechanical systems, HVAC units, and building fabric.
- Carry out PPM tasks according to the maintenance schedule, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Diagnose and repair faults in plumbing systems, mechanical equipment, and HVAC units.
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fittings, fixtures, and drainage systems.
- Respond to plumbing emergencies, such as leaks, clogs, and burst pipes.
- Conduct regular inspections of plumbing systems to identify and rectify potential issues.
- Service and maintain mechanical systems, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) units.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults in equipment such as pumps, motors, and fans.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing or equivalent qualification.
- Desirable: Additional mechanical qualifications, such as City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC certifications, or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a similar multi-skilled maintenance role, ideally within a commercial or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, mechanical maintenance, HVAC, and building fabric maintenance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to manage workload efficiently.
