The role

Join the dynamic team at South Bank Colleges as a Finance Business Partner. In this role, you will have the chance to actively engage with managers and staff at all levels within the College, making a real impact to the delivery of the Colleges' mission and to the student experience.

We are looking for a committed individual who has experience in supporting the Vice Principal - Finance and Performance in the delivery of strategic financial management reporting for SBC, expected to adopt a professional and flexible approach, and acting as a business partner to managers accross the College.

We would welcome applications on a full- or part-time basis.  We offer partial hybrid working (typically 40%) and you should be prepared to travel to College and Group sites as required.

Permanent – Part time – 21 hours per week – All year round

Outline

Reporting directly to the Vice Principal - Finance and Performance, the post holder will be the lead professional in preparing monthly management accounts, acting as a business partner to both Faculty Heads and PSG Heads and supporting the delivery of strategic financial management information to the College Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and the SBC Board.

The post holder will work closely with other finance colleagues within SBC and with the wider London South Bank University (LSBU) Group team, forging collaborative and supportive working relationships while fully supporting the College(s) in the delivery of a financially sustainable operating environment.

A key responsibility is the delivery of management accounting for SBC comprising monthly management accounts preparation, investigation into variances, budget holder liaison and assistance with preparation of annual budgets and other forecasts.
