JOB PURPOSE

You will:

  • lead on the management & administration of staff cover in collaboration with the Deputy Headteacher provide effective support to the Data & Exams Manager in all aspects of their role, including deputising in their absence. 

    WORK PERFORMED

    Cover Manager:

  • Manage the absence line each morning, gathering information from absent colleagues & providing advice/ guidance in accordance with Absence Management policies & keep leaders informed Produce & share daily cover timetables in response to planned and unplanned absences Liaise with supply agencies to manage both day to day and long-term absences.  This will include booking staff, collating relevant paperwork & managing invoices.  Meet & greet supply staff providing their timetable & other key information Update the Single Central Record for all agency staff on a daily basis

    Data & exams:

    Under the leadership of the Data & Exams manager you will:

  • Contribute to the completion of statutory and local data/admissions returns.  This includes those to the LA, DfE and the Trust
Check the completion & accuracy of a wide range of information and update it accordingly.  This will include contact information, assessment data, student reports etc.  Support with the production & submission of information for reports Upload data to aid analysis Assist with basis changes to the school’s timetable & the timetables of students Support with the efficient implementation of all internal and external examinations ensuring that they meet regulatory and awarding body requirements as necessary

Support with the download and dissemination of results for all qualifications
