Transport Planner

A Fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Transport Planner to join my clients busy site in Ashford.

The transport planner will be responsible for the day to day running of the transport dept including:

Planning and arranging deliveries to customers

  • Arrange collections and returns
  • Plan drivers loads
  • Use resources in most efficient way
  • Assist with admin to ensue that drivers and vehicles meet legal requirements
  • Assisting with driver compliance.

We are looking for candidates who have a knowledge and understanding of transport planning and driver compliance.

  • Ideally you will a CPC qualification or FORS practitioner certificate
  • Experience in driver compliance including tacho and working hours regulations
  • Experience of planning routes
