French/Spanish Teacher

Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic French/Spanish Teacher seeking a rewarding opportunity in a supportive and improving school environment? This mixed comprehensive school is currently seeking a talented French/Spanish Teacher to join a stable and successful Modern Foreign Languages department. This position is available for a September start and will run until the end of the academic year.

Contract: Until end of academic year
Salary: £155 - £250

Role Overview: As a French/Spanish Teacher at this school, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and effective French/Spanish lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students. You will have the opportunity to inspire a love for language learning and support students in achieving their full potential in French/Spanish. This role is pivotal in maintaining the high standards and excellent results of this school.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver high-quality French/Spanish lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, ensuring coverage of the national curriculum.
  • Create a positive and stimulating learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
  • Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues within the Modern Foreign Languages department to share best practices and resources.
  • Maintain accurate records of student achievement, attendance, and behaviour.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching French/Spanish at Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for language teaching.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A commitment to the ethos and values of the school.
